The first Operator Training Simulator with a built-in AI advisor — guiding instructors and operators through the simulator by voice, in their own language.

The Pain Point

Operator Training Simulators are powerful but intimidating — dozens of menus and windows across the Instructor and Operator stations. Onboarding depends on scarce expert trainers and thick manuals, knowledge stays tribal and inconsistent, and the interface is English-heavy while many plant operators are more fluent in a regional language.

My Solution

AIEVA — an AI advisor built into ProSimulator that delivers auto-driven, voice-guided tours. It actually opens and operates the real simulator windows while narrating in a human voice, so a trainee learns by watching the system do it.

Instructor Station Tour

A ~25-minute AI walkthrough of every instructor feature: Mode & session setup, Startup modes, Training (monitoring, trends, exercises, reports), Tools, the OPC data interface, and Malfunction & Performance Evaluation.

Operator Station Tour

Walks the trainee through the CS3000 station as used in the plant: Graphics, Control Groups, Faceplates, Tuning, Trends and the Process Alarm window — including how to read tags, controllers and alarm colours.

The Payoff

A multi-day, expert-dependent orientation becomes a self-paced ~25-minute guided tour. Training is consistent and standardised every time, regional-language voice makes it accessible on the plant floor, and it is the first OTS with built-in AI — driving faster operator competency and safer operation.

My Solution

The Pain Point

Students learn plant equipment from dense textbooks with little visual or interactive reinforcement — engagement and retention stay low, and there's no structured, self-paced path from "never seen a pump" to confident.

My Solution

ChemBuddy, a learning app covering 219 equipment types across 19 categories with a day-wise curriculum, purpose-built equipment visuals (isometric, cutaway, flow-path), daily and weekly quizzes, scoring and a live leaderboard — all Firebase-backed.

The Payoff

Equipment learning becomes a self-paced, competitive game. Piloted with chemical-engineering students at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai, and evaluated by the Director & Dean for a paid teaching engagement.

The Pain Point

Engineers manually retype fields from technical datasheet PDFs — pumps, heat exchangers, separators — into Excel. It's slow, error-prone, and impossible to trust or verify at volume.

My Solution

DataTrans reads any datasheet (PDF or Word) and extracts structured fields into a styled Excel — then verifies every value verbatim against the source document and reports a transparent data-transfer accuracy %, flagging anything it couldn't confirm for review.

The Payoff

Bulk datasheet transcription in seconds per document at 94–100% verified accuracy — trustworthy because it shows its work. Now offered as a service: send a datasheet, receive a verified Excel.

The Pain Point

Process Safety Management audits in refineries and petrochemical plants are complex and checklist-heavy, usually run on ad-hoc spreadsheets with reports written by hand — slow, inconsistent, and hard to standardise across sites.

My Solution

SHERPA, a single-file web app that walks an auditor element-by-element through OSHA PSM (14 elements, 94 questions) or CCPS RBPS (20 elements, 115 questions), auto-saves every answer, and generates a complete, professional audit report — no server, no database, no internet.

The Payoff

Standardised, framework-compliant PSM audits with instant report generation. Runs air-gapped in any browser — friendly to plant security — and resumes exactly where you left off.

Chennai Flood Simulator

A free browser tool that simulates 15 Chennai flood scenarios — for public awareness, emergency planning and policy intelligence.

The Pain Point

Chennai floods again and again, yet citizens, planners and policymakers have no accessible way to see how different rainfall, cyclone, reservoir-release or 2050-climate scenarios would actually play out across the city's most vulnerable areas.

My Solution

Chennai Flood Simulator — a free, browser-based tool that models 15 flood scenarios on a live Esri satellite map, from NE/SW monsoons, cyclones, storm surge and reservoir releases to Climate-2050 sea-level rise, urban cloudburst, tidal-lock and even governance-failure. Its Decision Tool turns four triggers (rainfall, duration, reservoir release, tide/cyclone) into a timed flood sequence, an impact map and policy, emergency-planning and real-estate guidance — with a 6-belt vulnerability framework, a scenario × area risk matrix, depth in feet and inches, and voice narration. Validated against NDMA, IMD, Climate Central 2050 and OpenStreetMap data.

The Payoff

Turns complex flood hydrology into an interactive, evidence-based awareness and planning tool anyone can use — from citizens checking their neighbourhood to planners stress-testing interventions. Submitted to the CavinKare–MMA ChinniKrishnan Innovation & Great Ideas Awards 2026.

One app for every Chennai Metro & MRTS query — routes, fares, timetables, station details, MTC last-mile and grievances, with an AI chat that actually knows the network.

The Pain Point

Chennai Metro (CMRL) and MRTS commuters juggle route planning, interchanges, fare types, timetables and last-mile bus links across scattered sources — with no single, friendly assistant to answer "how do I get from A to B, and what will it cost?"

My Solution

CUMTA Chat, an installable Progressive Web App across all 6 lines and 61 stations with six core modules: an interactive metro map (SVG schematic + GPS geographic view), an AI chat assistant (Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4) that handles 24 topics with route & interchange planning and typo-tolerant station matching, an official CMRL fare calculator, a timetable planner with next-train estimator, a grievance portal, and a 24-step guided voice tour — all in four languages, working offline.

The Payoff

One friendly app replaces a dozen tabs: commuters get instant route, fare, timing and last-mile answers — in their language, even offline — plus a grievance channel and a network dashboard. Built by Suraja Technologies, backed by Jignyashika Consulting.

The Pain Point

Keynotes and workshops are mostly one-directional. Speakers struggle to engage a live audience and capture real-time input without making everyone download yet another app.

My Solution

Prestoz, a self-hosted toolkit with five real-time engagement tools — Word Cloud, Live Polls, Feedback, Q&A and Surveys. The audience joins from any browser and results update instantly via Firebase.

The Payoff

Passive rooms become participatory. No app to install, works on mobile, and because it's self-hosted you own your data — built by a speaker, for speakers.
