On Curiosity

✦ · ✦ · ✦

Four small puzzles lie ahead. Each one rewards you with a single letter. Gather all four, and you will name the single stance every curious mind keeps.

Each puzzle has a gentle hint shown on the page. Trust your eyes — and your browser.

Movement I  ·  The Pull

A Flicker in the Dark

Curiosity begins as a faint pull — a light in the dark that asks to be noticed. Find it.

Movement II  ·  The Whisper

A Word Hidden in the Page

A short riddle is written below. Solve it — or peek behind the page to find the answer.

In just three letters, small but wide, I open every door I'm tried. A child will ask me all day through — the question curiosity runs to.
Not quite — try again.

Stuck? Press F12 (or right-click anywhere and choose Inspect). Look near the top of the page's HTML — the answer is written in a hidden comment.

Movement III  ·  The Mirror

A Word in Reverse

A word has been written backwards. Read it from right to left and restore it.

N O I T S E U Q
Read it from right to left.

The last letter in the mirror becomes the first letter of the real word.

Movement IV  ·  The Inner Voice

A Voice in the Console

A voice has been speaking inside your browser since you arrived. Open the developer tools and listen.

How to listen 1. Press F12   (or ++I on Mac)
2. A panel opens. Click the tab labelled Console at the top of it.
3. Read the cyan message. A single word is waiting for you.
4. Come back and type that word below.
Listen again.
Movement V  ·  The Naming

The Final Word

You have gathered four letters. They name the single stance every curious mind keeps — a mind that stays turned toward the unknown, willing to be surprised.

O · P · E · N
Not yet.

Four letters. The stance of the curious.

Coda

OPEN

You followed the pull. You asked the question. You turned the mirror. You listened where most do not.

Curiosity is not knowing — it is staying open to everything you do not yet know.
